How to list Shopify products on eBay with QST

Your Shopify catalogue already has the titles, descriptions, prices, variants and images you need to start selling elsewhere. QST helps you reuse that work: prepare your listings, choose one product or a whole catalogue, and publish to eBay with QST Desktop for Windows.

The Shopify Dashboard is your starting point for browsing products and preparing marketplace drafts. Desktop adds direct eBay publishing, local image tools and title assistance. Both keep your Shopify products unchanged.

1. Install QST and bring in your products

Start your 30-day full-access trial. Open QST Listing Workspace in Shopify Admin and check the Products view. Use search and filters to find the products you want to work on.

For direct eBay publishing, download QST Desktop for Windows, then follow the Desktop pairing flow shown in the app. Pairing lets Desktop read the catalogue from your Shopify installation. You can continue using the Dashboard for listing preparation and downloads whenever you prefer.

2. Connect your eBay seller account

In Desktop, connect the eBay seller account you want to use. Complete your seller policies and item location, then check the category and required item specifics for your products. Set these up once so your next batch starts with the right account and selling details.

If a setup field needs attention, QST shows what to complete. Check that your eBay connection is current and that the policies and location belong to the seller account you connected.

3. Prepare a product for its new audience

Choose a product and review its eBay title, description, price, variants and images. A title that works in your own shop may benefit from clearer search terms on eBay. Desktop's title assistance helps you work on the wording; its image tools let you prepare the pictures locally.

For example, a handmade candle holder might need its material, colour and size brought into the title. Keep those details specific to the actual item. Work through the readiness information until the listing has the details it needs.

4. Choose one item or a catalogue batch

Launch one product first, choose a group with search and filters, or select your catalogue together. Review the selection, then start publishing with the Publish to eBay control. QST works through the selected products and checks the result of each listing or update for you.

Use the results to see what has been listed and which items need a follow-up. If an item needs a missing category detail or seller setting, complete it before trying that item again. When checking an interrupted operation, look at QST's result history and your eBay listings before repeating it.

Keep your listing workflow organised

QST prepares and publishes listings; manage ongoing stock and orders through your chosen channel-management process. Your Shopify product titles, images and prices stay as you left them, while your eBay listing can use wording suited to eBay buyers.

For marketplaces where you want prepared content to use yourself, follow the Listing Pack tutorial. You can also read how QST keeps your Shopify catalogue unchanged.
